Chiron Technology Services, Inc. currently has a Systems Engineer III career opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. United States Citizenship and an active TS/SCI w/Polygraph Clearance is required for this position.Capabilities:The System Engineer III will provide support to the current Prototyping team. This SIGINT Dataflow/Systems Engineer will be a member of a Systems Engineering team focusing on dataflow engineering relating to deployed customer systems. The ideal candidate will have a history of direct involvement with successful efforts and system upgrades in which new data flows are evaluated and validated.Qualifications:Sixteen (16) years demonstrated systems engineering experience on programs that encompassed systems architecture, requirements analysis, design, production, integration, test and transition into operations.
A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of experience, or a Master of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for six (6) years experience.
Demonstrated ten (10) years of systems engineering experience on programs/projects with communication systems and information technology within an intelligence community environment.
Four (4) years demonstrated experience as a senior systems engineer on complex projects with multiple tasks.
Six (6) years demonstrated experience leading systems engineering teams and estimating resources for systems engineering tasks.
This candidate will implement and supervise data management procedures for both classified and unclassified programs and project information as defined by the Program Data Manager.
The candidate will assist in the implementation of operating methods to improve processing, distribution, data flow.
The candidate will Identify and acquire new data sources, as well as create and manage business metadata for published data sources to ensure that it is easily discoverable, and meaningful to information workers.
Experience in NiFi (Niagra Files)
Experience with authoring Systems Engineering documentation; this includes requirements analyses, and the ability to research highly technical subject matter, organize information from multiples sources, and express technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers.
Experience in process mapping, group presentation, written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Understanding of classification and how to interpret Classification Guidance.
