Honeywell's Building Automation strategic business group is hiring a Sr. Manager of Strategic Account Managers to sit remote. Ideally this candidate is located in/near Arizona, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia or Pennsylvania. This role will play a key part in expanding and managing the growth of a Strategic Account team while acting as a trusted advisor with Onity Sales leadership. The incumbent will manage a team of strategic, creative and organized professionals (SAMs) who take pride in seeing account sales growth, operations running smoothly and efficiently. This leader will also become the single point of single points of contact responsible for all contractual deliverables globally and who will partner with the appropriate Onity teams to ensure consistency of delivery throughout the world.Key Responsibilities:

Provides day-to-day leadership to the SAM team, including mentoring and coaching

Primary point of contact for all Strategic Account team communication, engagement or activities – working with Sales leadership, be the voice of customer voices within Onity, be the voice of Onity with all strategic customers

Oversees SAM compliance of all contractual requirements and assures that all KPIs are met

Primary partner with ONITY divisions (customer service, engineering, operations, finance/billing, technical support) working with the SAMs to engage appropriate subject matter experts to provide complete resolution to any client inquiries and/or problems.

Working with Sales leadership, involved in setting strategic plans and business growth strategies and/or, where appropriate, identifying cost efficiency opportunities for all strategic accounts

Ensures SAMs conduct timely (quarterly) business reviews with appropriate stakeholders ensuring forward account momentum

Exhibits a robust communication strategy and ensures accuracy of messaging (written and verbal) both internally and externally

Provide the annual plan for the Strategic Accounts in coordination and cooperation with Sales leadership and geographic Onity sales/support offices worldwide

Works with the wider Onity leadership team to provide a single communications strategy/voice. Is able to interrogate analytics to identify opportunities for sales growth, product change and/or innovation.

Travel to communicate Strategic Account vision to extended teams, and to engage with SAMs in strategic Global Account planning

Must model the capabilities of an ‘Executive Sales Professional’ to sales colleagues, and be a mentor and guide when appropriate.

Metrics, Accountability, & Measurement:

Account success measured as increased sales, lowered costs, higher MFA/promoter score

Increased sales opportunities with corporate-managed and franchised accounts under property flag

YOU MUST HAVE:

12+ years of Strategic Account Management working for a major industrial, electronics, networking or consumer products firm

Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration, Engineering (Systems), Computer Science) from a respectable institution

Hospitality industry experience

Lock/electronic lock solutions experience

Strong interpersonal communication experience, able to work easily with all layers of complex organizations (including franchise owners)

Highly organized yet flexible/adaptive skillset – able to juggle multiple balls at once without a single drop

Must be willing to travel 50% (domestic)
