Job Description
Energetic, caring and open minded clinicians with a passion for caring . Candidates will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a therapeutic relationship with the clients they see for individual, family or grouptherapy.While doing this theywould also be able to the following:- Providea therapeutic environment that engages and encourages clientsto participate insessions to address various issues.
- Support, encourage, and promote mental healthstability and well-being.
- Supportsclients in obtaining a reality-based perspective of their environment by helping to correct obvious distortions.
- Supportsclients in the development of social supports including friends, family, members of the community, andservice providers in order to promote positive interactions.
- Supportsclientsin establishing and developing self-esteem by identifying existing and emerging positive characteristics, traits, and contributions.
- Provides a culturally sensitive therapeutic milieu that allows clientsto identify and deal with their specific concerns.
- Supportsclients in the development of communication skills, social skills, problem-solving skills, and coping skills.
- Supports clients in identifying and meeting basic needs including, medical and psychiatric care, etc.
- Participates as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Will provide documentation for all services provided. Documentation will be submitted in our Electronic Health Record in a timely manner.Conducts intakes as assigned.
Will participate in activities and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Licensed to provide therapy; Minimum of at least one year experienced.
- Credentialed or eligible for credentialing with major insurances
- Clinicians experienced with adults or children
Experience in one or all of the following modalities:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy
- Motivational Interviewing.
- Sand Tray Therapy.
- Art Therapy.
- and other treatment modalities
Individuals must be independently licensed in Maryland to provide therapy/counseling services.

Additional Information
great environment and culture; seeking optimistic and open minded individual to start immediately. Position is contract-hourly payapproximately 8 hours per week initially and to grow into a five days per week depending on client census.
Office hours are:
- Monday and Tuesday 10:00am-6:00pm
- Wednesday and Thursday 11:00am-8:30pm
- Friday 10:00am-4:00pm
- One to 2 Saturdays per month 10:00am-1pm
- No Holidays required.
