The TeamGlobal Operations is undergoing a transformation focused on optimizing the entire supply chain to serve customers faster and better.As a part of Global Operations, the Workforce Readiness teamis responsible for theend to endlaboreremployee experience in our manufacturing plants and distribution centers- over 35,000 employees globally.This team is focused on implementing a world-class, innovative employee experience that enables our operations workforce to support the growing needs of our industry, including lean skill sets, industry 4.0, and automation.This position will play a critical role in supporting that employee experience throughout their journey.The team partners closely with various Global Operations leaders and teams to implement solutions and technology toupskill our employees and enhanceourOperations performance.

The ChallengeAsTraining Hardware Project Manager forWorkforce Readiness, you will act as thepoint of contact and manager fortraininghardware needs for all Global Operations locations around the globe. This key role will work closely with the IT department as well as third-party vendors to coordinate smooth design, delivery, installation, and support for devices as well as access for our Operations workforce. These devices will enable manyIndustry4.0 / Automation technologies, upskilling, and aide in the transformation of our workforceto realize value for the businesses and sustainability for continued innovation and improvement.You'll work closely with business leaders to develop innovative solutions, create actionableplans,and drivelearningand performance to help Stanley Black & Decker team fulfill its mission of Operations Excellence through People & Technology.

What You'll Do
  • Developinnovative solutions, create actionableplans, and drivelearningand performanceto help the business achieve its short/long term objectives
  • Track and analyze hardware deployment timelines, cost, and access
  • Coordinate smooth design, delivery, installation, and support for devices
  • Ensure employees have appropriate access permissions for hardware
  • Plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed
  • Formulate hypothesis, develop queries and models to evaluate hypothesis and formulate solutions to drive process & performance improvement with varioushardware solutions
  • Collaborate and educate stakeholders with engaging presentations and clearly written documents incorporating compelling storytelling and visualization
  • Collaboratewithstakeholdersin IT, Global Operations, and third-parties to shape, deploy, and manage training hardware needs
  • Support creation and sharing of best practices across Operations sites and stakeholders fortraininghardware management
  • Create strategic relationships with internal leaders and associates to implementhardware for training, upskilling, and general access in our Operations footprints.

  • 2-4years of experience inProject Management, IT, Data, or Operations
  • A Bachelor's degreeor4years relevant experience in project management or IT
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Robustunderstanding oftools and technologies includingDEP, MDM, Apple products, Android products, andother IT administration technologies.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internaland third-partystakeholders that improves team credibility
  • Able to work collaboratively across global Business Units
  • Self-starter accountable for creating deliverables in high quality independently
