Litigation Associate

Description Established law firm in Baltimore County is expanding their team and looking to bring on an Associate with 1-3 years of litigation experience. This is an active practice, primarily focused on insurance defense. This role requires a high volume of district court appearances and the opportunity to work closely with more experienced Attorneys. This is a hybrid opportunity offering free parking, a collaborative and accessible team and an opportunity to gain a lot of hands-on experience early in your career.Responsibilities: Collaborate with expert witnesses and prepare witnesses for deposition as well as trial testimony Participate actively in trial preparation, trial, arbitration, mediation, and settlement negotiations Independently manage a range of active matters in a dynamic environment Employ exceptional legal research skills along with excellent writing and analytical abilities Handle all areas of case management and litigation phases comfortably Function as a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills in daily tasks.Requirements Applicant should have at least 1 year of experience practicing as an Attorney Barred in Maryland Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong research and analytical skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines is crucial Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team is needed Strong commitment to detail and client service excellence is a requirementOur client offers free parking, a variety of health insurance options, retirement savings (with a match) annual reviews and bonus opportunities and many other perks to help you meet your personal and professional goals.
