You’ll get to:

This role will lead the Productivity / DTV (Design To Value) / Platforming Sourcing initiatives which work to identify areas of cost savings opportunities for product within the OUTDOOR division product portfolios.

Work collaboratively with Engineering, Marketing, Sourcing, & Operations to identify opportunities and execute them in a timely manner, measure and evaluate ROI on VI savings, develop and present project updates to senior management.

Focused on delivering plans & enabling the execution of projects to reduce the cost of our products & increase margins.

Drive sourcing productivity projects by taking the lead on Engineering, Testing and Qualification initiatives.

Drive and Support product teardown events, integrate with the new product development teams to review future savings opportunities, compile data for analysis to identify ideas or trends which support VI.

Identify any roadblocks & eliminate these through working creatively within the team to provide solutions.

Able to travel nationally and internationally (10%).

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Industrial Engineering or Engineering Management.

2+ years of directly related work experience.

Functional project management experience in the design and manufacturing of consumer products.

Ability to understand engineering designs and manufacturing processes.

Proven track record of leading projects from ideation to completion a plus.

Manufacturing operations experience a plus.

Experience working in a global matrix organization a plus.
