Becoming an AnthroMed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). As an AnthroMed SLP in Carroll County, you will be the difference-maker who:
Assesses students' speech-language abilities and crafts tailored treatment plans.
Delivers top-notch direct speech-language therapy services aligned with IEPs.
Excels in assessments, interprets results, and crafts insightful reports that pinpoint strengths and areas of improvement in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
Stays at the forefront of your field, leveraging professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuous education to shape your practice.
Cultivates an engaging learning environment by implementing efficient process management strategies.
Thrives in collaborative IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving sessions.
Collaborates with instructional staff to devise strength-based, child and family-centered treatment plans that foster overall educational advancement.
Ensures that evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery strictly adhere to school, state, and federal guidelines.
Guides and supports teachers in identifying and addressing speech and language delays/disorders.
Embraces additional responsibilities that contribute to our collective mission.
Qualifications
Previous experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings, preferably with K-8th grade students is preferred.
A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
A valid Maryland SLP license from the Maryland Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply. Inquire about our clinical fellowship program and past success ensuring all Clinical Fellows received their CCC-SLP.
