A. GENERAL – The Machine Operator reports to the SSI Production Manager and performs duties associated with the safe and proper operation of the machinery in production. The duties include, but are not limited to;
a. Setup, startup, and operation of rubber 5 axis CNC machines and thermoforming machines
b. Inventory control functions
c. Inspection of manufactured goods for adherence to specifications
d. Utility duties such as packaging
B. Position requirements for Machine Operator
a. The position does require some lifting and manual positioning
b. The position is in an industrial environment / setting
c. No previous experience is necessary and candidates will be trained on the proper use of machinery, however experience with hand tools is highly preferred
d. The position does require the use of measuring tools and visual inspection
e. The position does require legible handwriting
