Our client, a firearms company located in southern Maryland is seeking a temporary-to-hire HR Generalist for their busy team.About You:A Bachelor's degree in HR or related business field is required for this position.3-5+ years of HR experience required. Experience working with benefits, recruitment, and employee relations.Strong detail orientation and ability to work under tight deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and deliver superb customer service.Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.The Job:Update, upload, and maintain HR documentation.Manage HRIS system as it relates to benefits, FMLA, and long and short term disability.Provide general HR administration support, especially reconciling vacation and sick leave.Support recruitment efforts as needed.Provide assistance to employees in regards to benefits administration and general inquiries.Coordinate on-boarding and off-boarding of employees and temporary staff and coordinate information with payroll.This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with an hourly rate of $22-$25/ hour and has potential to convert to a salary of $50K-$55K.
