Step by Step would like to welcome our newly opened Assisted Living Residence. Step by Step Assisted Living (1) is a long-term senior care option that provides personal care support services to our loving seniors. We are seeking Med-Techs to help us in providing quality-efficient care to our residents. The right candidate will possess knowledge of medication administration, has a passion for serving others, is reliable, and reflects the "Step by Step" perspective.

Schedule:
Must be able to work all shifts (Morning, Mid-Day, Night, Overnight)
3 days on 4 days off
4 days on 3 days off
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist with activities of daily to include:
-Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and other personal care requirements
-Medication Administration & Reminders
-Companionship care and providing emotional support by listening and providing appropriate responses
-Full transfers/ambulation assistance
-Housekeeping duties
-Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
-Adhering to and following POC (plan of care) and schedules for each resident
-Documenting on shift reports
-Cooking/Meal preparation
-Accompanies client(s) to appointments
-Providing an enriching and safe environment
-Completing and signing off on MAR's
-Step by Step Assisted Living I reserves the right to reassign or change duties as necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have patience and compassion for those we serve
-Must have current CPR and First Aid Certifications
-Must possess the minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
-Must be dedicated, reliable, and sensitive to the needs of our residents
-Must be able to successfully pass a background screening, TB screening and Physical
-Must have a valid Driver's License and have reliable transportation
-Must be a Maryland Board Certified Medication Technician
-Must have at least 1 years experience with care-giving
