Job Description:
Tutor is responsible for assisting students with their coursework and examinations for the 2023-2024 school year every Monday and Wednesday from 2:30pm-5:30pm. This involves helping students with their homework, assisting with Khan Academy and other after care related programs and curriculum. The Tutor will also assist in transitions to martial arts and to be picked up by parent/guardian by assuring they have all their belongings and that homework is complete upon departure to home. The Tutor I will also be expected to assist in maintaining a clean study space and ensuring the well-being of the students during after care instructional hours.
Job Requirements:
·Must have at least one year of experience working with students.
·Must have an associate’s degree or higher; or be currently enrolled in an educational institution teaching material or curriculum which provides tutors to students.
·Must have a high GPA if in high school and ability to provide proof such as report cards
·Must have experience working with kids ages 5-11.
·Reliable transportation to and from work is preferred.
·Must be able to work in fast pace environment
·Must be able to pass a background check
