Description:Our client is a full-service civil engineering firm who is looking for a Survey CAD Technician to join their team in Silver Spring, MD! This is a long-term position with various growth opportunities within the Land Development and Land Surveying industry. Responsibilities will include:
Assist with the drafting and CADD production.
Responsible for preparing exhibits, sketches, drawings, and plans for civil engineering projects located predominately in the state of Maryland.
Responsible for assisting other professionals with other support level jobs such as surveying, construction inspection, utility mapping and coordination, and other duties as determined by the Sector Division Manager.
Typical plans they will draft include stormwater, storm drain, water and sewer plans, erosion and sediment control plans, etc.
Skills & Qualifications:
At least 2-5+ years of field/office surveying experience
At least 2+ years of experience in AutoCAD drafting (preferably in Civil3D)
Ability to commit to a 40-hour work week
Knowledge of other programs such as Bentley's MicroStation and ESRI's ArcGIS is a plus
