Cleaning and folding laundry for our residents and restaurant linens in the Nursing Home according to established policies, procedures, and health regulations
Keeping soiled laundry separate from the clean laundry
Checking personal cloths making, sure each item is properly identified (including the ironing of independent personals).
Reporting any lost, damaged, or unclaimed clothing items to Lead/Supervisor.
Delivering all linens and resident's clothing to the appropriate floors and resident’s rooms (including the delivery of independent items)
Maintaining daily record keeping.
Filling in for other housekeeping duties as necessary

What you will need:
General knowledge of laundry systems critical to safety and welfare
Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions. Previous experience in laundry services is desirable.
Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time. Ability to push, pull or lift a minimum of 25 pounds and a maximum of 50 pounds with assistance, such as carts, laundry bags, and linens. Strenuous pulling while unloading washers, dryers, repetitive motions. Mandatory wearing of a safety belt.
