In this role you will manage a large and complex program with multiple technical teams spanning a wide range of IT support and technologies.Work Visa sponsorship will not be provided for this role.HOW A TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Provide leadership in overseeing comprehensive technology and service delivery

Provide strategic planning, operational planning, and service portfolio development and implementation to service delivery technical managers

Provide oversight of all technical and operational aspects of the program

Develop and lead cross-functional teams, including promoting team cohesion and collaboration

Inject enterprise innovation through strategic thinking around technology and operations

Develop and maintain strong client relationships (trusted advisor) with transparent communications

Ensure program performance to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives

Serve as a people manager in coaching, mentoring, motivating, and supervising direct reports

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:Required Education: BS/BA (or equivalent)Required Experience: Minimum of 10 years of related experienceRequired Technical Skills:

Minimum of eight years of experience managing large IT Operations and Maintenance contracts

Proficiency in multiple technical disciplines, including DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud services, IT infrastructure, cyber security, networking, data management, storage, and XaaS

Experience managing programmatic risks for large service delivery and infrastructure projects including, dependencies, and issues to ensure timely resolution

Experience managing technical projects, using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies

Experience working in a metrics-driven environment (e.g., SLA, OLA)

Experience developing and delivering complex IT services across a diverse portfolio (e.g., cybersecurity, networking, cloud, engineering, scientific computing)

Experience developing solutions in a regulated federal environment (e.g., FISMA, FedRamp) and compliance requirements (e.g., EPLC)

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a NIH Public TrustRequired Skills and Abilities:

Ability to communicate complex technical topics and concepts to executive leadership and technical staff

Knowledge of IT best practices and standards

Preferred Skills:

Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Lean IT, PMP, Scrum Master)

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
