As a Storage/Backups Systems Engineer, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on this role to maintain HRSA's Hosting, Network, Security, Server, Identity and Access Management, and Tier II Operations in support of the HRSA mission.· 24x7x365 infrastructure operations support serving in on-call rotation· Hybrid Environment (Azure and on-prem) / Experience in Azure required· Working within team for successful completion of all tasks within the Statement of Work for assigned area of responsibility. That includes: Network, Security, DNS, DHCP, VOIP, Identity and Access Management, and Server Operations.· Will review monitoring tools to identify trends and proactive identification of potential customer impacting events.· Recommending changes to processes or procedures to improve efficiency or reduce costs in future projects.· Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software with IT infrastructure.  WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Positions are available at the following three levels:Systems Engineer Junior· Bachelor’s degree in related field. Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.· 2+ years of related experience· 1+ years of experience working in a Hybrid (Azure/On-Prem) Application hosting environment with technologies such as:o Storage and Backup Systems Engineeringo Administrationo Patch Managemento Vulnerability Remediationo Security Complianceo Performance Monitoring/Tuningo NetAPPo Veritas NetBackupo CDOT· Demonstrated ability to support a 24x7x365 environment and work in on-call rotation with ability to respond to Rockville or Sterling Data CenterSystems Engineer Mid Level· Bachelor’s degree in related field. Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.· 6+ years of related experience· 3+ years of experience working in a Hybrid (Azure/On-Prem) Application hosting environment with technologies such as:o Storage and Backup Systems Engineeringo Administrationo Patch Managemento Vulnerability Remediationo Security Complianceo Performance Monitoring/Tuningo NetAPPo Veritas NetBackupo CDOT· Demonstrated ability to support a 24x7x365 environment and work in on-call rotation with ability to respond to Rockville or Sterling Data CenterSystems Engineer Senior· Bachelor’s degree in related field.
