Piper Companies is actively seeking a Project Manager in Rockville, MD to support a government contract while managing several cutting-edge projects. This is a newly created position to support a large, 5+ year award with a growing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader looking to manage both pre-clinical and clinical projects in a high visibility role.
Responsibilities for the Project Manager include: • Leads all aspects of project communications, reporting to the VP of Program Management • Monitors progress and advancements to ensure deadlines are met according to project timelines • Maintains a positive working relationship between subcontractors and internal personnel • Prepares reports, reviews invoices, and oversees budgetQualifications for the Project Manager include: • Bachelor's degree • 2-4 years of experience in biology, chemistry, or related life sciences is required, experience in government contracts is preferred • Experience in early development stages of clinical cGMP manufacturing is required • Strong knowledge of MS Projects and Office • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills Compensation for the Project Manager includes: • Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually, dependent on experience • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Keywords:Project manager, project management, manufacturing, cGMP, clinical good manufacturing practices, communications, project coordinator, government contracts, subcontractors, life sciences, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerpointVacancy caducado!
