Job Description SummaryThe Edison Digital Health Leader, United States & Canada (USCAN) will be responsible for regional commercial strategy, go to market for the Edison Digital Health Platform (EDHP). This role will lead the market development and collaborate with the Global Edison Health Platform team on the solutions portfolio. This role will be customer centric and focus on shaping value propositions that resonate with customers.In this role, the individual must be a self-starter, strategic thinker, action and output driven, thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at managing multiple priorities, and succeed in communicating with all levels within the organization and within customer institutions. Drive GE Healthcare’s thought leadership in the use of digital solutions and platforms by collaborating with luminaries, large multi-site strategic and enterprise customers in the USCAN region.

Partner with the care pathway teams, digital pharma services, applications teams in imaging and PCS to generate joint collaborative approaches to have integrated value proposition of applications and the EDHP.

Champion EDHP with USCAN commercial teams, identify and follow suitable targets and enable application commercial teams to achieve net new customer deployments for EDHP in year 1 and full operating plan year 2 onwards

Have global domain knowledge in the evolution of digital platforms, embedded applications, value propositions, and competitive landscape in this dynamically changing environment.

Work with regional commercial, account teams for high level discussions with CXO’s and department heads by communicating the value propositions of the Edison Digital Health Platform.

Leverage relationships with key customers, thought leaders, and industry influencers to stay abreast of market trends. Support in driving Key Opinion Leader relationships and growth of overall Market Share within the geographical areas.

Partner with product marketing to develop segment-specific strategies for introduction of the EDHP

Help global product marketing define strategy for presence at key US and Canada healthcare conferences and work with marketing communications and regional marketing for execution.

Responsible for “training & coaching” sessions with cross-functional teams such as Regional teams, Global EDHP team, SBU and Segment teams on topics including, but not limited to, trends in healthcare and the intersection of healthcare and digital solutions.

Collect feedback from customers & internal stakeholders, analyzing market data and Voice of Customer data to stratify the market and create segment specific sales and customers enablement tools. Continuously develop deep clinical and technical knowledge including awareness of current and future trends in healthcare technology and healthcare funding mechanisms.

Act as reference point to the Regional/Zone account/solutions teams regarding differentiation of the EDHP solutions. Develop impactful content to demonstrate the value of these solutions to address specific healthcare challenges in collaboration with global Edison Digital Health Platform team.

Generate options to share with the global team on Business development (inorganic and organic partnerships) and commercialization of digital, software and care pathway solutions.

In this role you will:

Have a deep understanding of customer ecosystem in digital solutions to generate business growth in support of business segment targets on orders, revenue, cost and margin.

Ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external audiences, using both oral and written communication skills

Should be able to drive outcome-based selling (VBM) by mapping specific care area workflows (patient journey) and bring innovation in proposing solutions and products. Establish clinical and technology company business model innovation and commercial terms especially in new or adjacent markets.

Make sound investment decisions based on market opportunities, market trend, risks, competitive landscape and strategic partnerships.

Establish and manage relationship across GE businesses and sub-businesses, partners and customers at CxO and senior management levels across industries and geographies. Must be able to build credibility and relationships across all functions and levels at the organization and with customers

Work cross functionally across sales, internal/external customers, analysts, marketing, engineering and senior management teams to formulate and execute the strategy. Influence internally and have the skills to navigate and be successful in a matrixed organization

Regional travel required as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

Digital healthcare experience of 7-10+ years in a hospital, consulting or software company with progressive leadership positions within the Healthcare industry with in-depth knowledge of healthcare market and decision makers.

5+ years of Commercial, Sales, and/or Business Development related experience, with a minimum of 2+ years in building partnerships with CXO level leadership directly with healthcare clients

Exemplary people management, leadership skills, as well as sales coaching & team building skills. Advanced negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills.

High level presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact that builds effective strategic relationships.

Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport, collaboration and influence at all levels within an organization.

​Preferred Qualifications:

Previous work experience with a digital healthcare solution is highly preferred – with some background in AI/ML related technologies, cloud / on-premise platforms or solutions

Experience applying critical thinking skills and disciplined approaches to help leaders and leadership teams resolve issues and define solutions.

Knows how to effectively manage risk and uncertainty for self and team. Makes decisions with confidence when problems or solutions are not 100% defined

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
