A week in the life of a Software/System Engineer (Senior):

Perform Software Systems Engineering for the development and sustainment phases of a project relative to mission planning software supporting aircraft and weapons systems.

Evaluate the impact of new capabilities and/or updated hardware and software on meeting the requirements and the mission performance on support software systems.

Review, develop, and comment on H-60 software requirements during the development and sustainment phases of a project

Develop trade-off studies, engineering approach analyses, system implementation analyses, and performing research to provide recommendations.

Job Requirements

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required.

Bachelor's degree in a Technical Discipline.

At least ten (10) years of experience in Systems Engineering supporting DoD aircraft or weapons systems, consisting of the design, development, integration and system testing of computer hardware, computer software, and navigation, sensor, and communication subsystems.

Knowledge of system engineering principles, theories, and concepts and ability to contribute to the development of new and innovative principles and concepts.

Software experience with JMPS (Joint Mission Planning Software)

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
