We are searching for a Financial Analyst, Junior. This position supports the Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program (PMA-262) at Patuxent River, Maryland. This position is an in-person position. Functional Description: Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. Analyze budgeting and accounting reports. Responsibilities:
Utilize Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) business and financial system to extract, analyze and interpret business and financial reports and all data combined therein.
Research, gather, and compile data for responses to various action items, data calls, and program related requirements information.
Create and complete Purchase Requisitions (PRs), including new contracts, amendments, and de-obligations in N-ERP
Track and monitor financial documents through the routing and approval process.
Maintain status on outstanding Purchase Requisitions that have been submitted to contracts, pull award documents, and update tracking information.
Analyze budgeting and accounting reports.
Provide support for spend plans, execution tracking and the generation and tracking of financial documents using various Navy and DoD electronic data systems such as Navy Enterprise Resources Program (N-ERP), SharePoint, Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT) and other Integrated Environments (PIEE, Jupiter, SDW, etc.)
Create Work Assignment Agreements (WAA’s), Reimbursable Billing Elements (RBE’s), Project Structures, and other BFM duties as necessary for execution.
Perform budget execution including tracking status of obligations and expenditures in detail by year, appropriation, and program for financial reconciliation for all funds; update/develop spreadsheets and financial status briefs Performs financial management and business analysis of major DOD acquisition systems and provides recommendations to ensure program success.
Support the development and execution of program acquisition documentation and processes.
Monitor and report status to BFM leadership on financial and actions to include schedule and technical challenges.

Education Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree or allowable substitutions. Allowable substitutions include an Associate’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category or four years of additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category.
Experience Requirements: This position requires zero to three years of experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
