Description IT Deployment TechnicianDuration: 3-to-5-Month ContractLocation: Towson, MD 21286 – 100% Onsite – Remote is not available due to the nature of the work.Hours: 8a-5p Monday-through-Friday – 40 hrs. per week – This is not available part-time or during nights/weekends.Pay Range: $20-21/hr.Start Date: Early April following 1 interview, reference check, drug test and background check.Responsibilities:
Image and configure approximately 300 Windows laptops according to established standards and procedures.
Verify functionality of hardware and software on all deployed laptops.
Package and ship laptops to designated office locations, ensuring safe and secure delivery.
Maintain accurate records of deployment activities, including asset tags, software licenses, and shipping information.
Assist with basic troubleshooting and issue resolution for deployment-related problems.
May provide onsite user training on basic laptop functionality and security procedures (depending on specific requirements).
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a technical support or IT deployment role.
Bachelor’s degree – Does not have to be a degree in something tech-related.
Proven ability to image and configure Windows laptops according to standard operating procedures.
Understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of MS Office Suite and basic network troubleshooting tools.
