Currently, BGSF Inc. d/b/a Vision Technology Services is seeking a
TechOps AV Designer to join our team and work directly on client projects. Education/Experience Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Mass Communications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field required.
- Requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in the AV/VTC environment, including working knowledge of components, line drawings, and others as they pertain to the layout and functionality of AV/VTC systems.
- Minimal 6 – 8 years of experience.
- Strong AutoCAD skills, with the ability to create AV design drawing packages.
- Works independently, receives minimal guidance, and excels in delivering design packages on time.
- Has deep knowledge of one or more infrastructure components, specifically POLY/ZOOM systems.
- Demonstrates ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities.
- Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization.
- Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions.
- Experience delivering AV technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
- Familiar with working with Facilities teams, general contractors, LVC, and other trades that participate in the building out of spaces to support AV/VTC systems.
- Must have strong AutoCAD experience and skills, especially with AV design work as this will be the primary job function.
- Must have minimum 6-8 years of experience within the AV industry.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
