Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer

Description We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team in OWINGS MILLS, Maryland. In this role, you will be focusing on the design and implementation of analytics, reporting, and data architecture, supporting data-driven decision making across various teams. Your key responsibilities will include the development of metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of strategies, ensuring high-quality data and accessible insights through a robust data governance framework. Responsibilities: Collaborate with various teams to establish key metrics and frameworks for assessing the effectiveness of strategies Develop and implement scalable data architecture with strong governance practices, ensuring data integrity and integration across multiple platforms Enhance business intelligence by delivering advanced analytics and automated reporting systems Serve as a trusted advisor for cross-functional teams, providing training to improve data literacy Manage projects with external vendors to enhance data capabilities Implement and maintain Salesforce as a core operating platform Utilize modern analytics tools and programming languages, such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, R. Work with API integrations and automation platforms such as Power Automate, Zapier to enhance data workflows Maintain familiarity with JSON and other data formats for seamless integration and transformation Lead the design and implementation of a scalable data architecture, ensuring data integrity and integration across various platforms. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role as a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer. Proficient in BusinessObjects Technologies. Extensive knowledge of Cognos Business Intelligence. Experience with Dax Technologies. Proficiency in using Informatica. Familiarity with Maps API. Strong skills in Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI). Demonstrated experience with Business Intelligence Technologies. Ability to create and understand Business Requirement Document. Proven experience in dealing with Business Users. Skilled in Power BI and Power BI. Experience with Salesforce Implementations. Proficiency in SQL Server. Strong Python programming skills. Familiarity with JSON. Experience in API Development.
