Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in NOTTINGHAM, Maryland. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your primary role will be to oversee our company's billing operations and customer credit accounts. This position is crucial to the financial health of our organization, ensuring that we properly bill our clients and collect payments in a timely manner.Responsibilities: Oversee the daily closure of invoices through a manual process. Conduct all client billing at the beginning and end of each month. Export billings through Microsoft Excel. Make adjustments to credit and remove billings as necessary. Manage our company's database efficiently. Understand and apply credits and debits correctly. Enter billing data and document fees. Learn and adapt quickly to using our in-house system for various tasks. Respond and adapt quickly to the demands of our auditing period. Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Receivable role Proficient in Account Reconciliation Demonstrated ability in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Billing procedures Skilled in Cash Applications and Cash Collections Familiarity with Commercial Collections Proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience with Oracle software Proficiency in QuickBooks Knowledge of SAP Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively High level of integrity and trustworthiness Willingness to continuously improve and learn new skills.
