Description We are in the search for a Building and Office Coordinator to join our team in the Non-Profit industry, stationed in NORTH BETHESDA, Maryland. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves a range of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The primary responsibilities include setting up and managing technology, preparing workspaces for new hires, coordinating presentations, and handling administrative tasks.Responsibilities: Oversee the setup and troubleshooting of technology, including AV equipment and computer systems. Manage the preparation of workstations for new team members. Coordinate the setup of furniture for events in the conference center. Handle deliveries and drop-offs, ensuring items reach the correct destination within the office. Stock and maintain supplies for staff and guests to ensure a well-equipped workspace. Perform administrative duties such as managing emails, calendars, invites, and schedules. Operate various software systems including MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel. Assist in the setup for presentations, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are prepared. Handle physical tasks as needed, including moving items up to 20-30 pounds. Ensure office facilities like coffee machines, water coolers, and printers are in good working condition. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services Experience with CRM and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Familiarity with Management System Understanding of Accounting Functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Billing Functions and Budget Processes Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Problem-solving aptitude and decision-making skills Attention to detail and accuracy in all work Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information Experience in a non-profit environment is advantageous.
