Manage the execution of Extended Stay programs and brand strategy initiatives.

Communicate execution progress to Extended Stay membership team and key stakeholders.

Collaborate with Brand teams as needed to plan and execute communication strategies and other elements necessary for successful implementation of brand initiatives.

Support the development and execution of consumer and/or operational testing and appropriate measurement mechanisms: focusing on owner ROI (return on investment), RevPAR (revenue per available room), LTR (likelihood to recommend – guest satisfaction), and unit growth.

Develop reports and presentations for internal and external meetings, including executive business reviews, owner advisory councils, and annual events and meetings.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

Bachelor's degree required.

A hospitality professional with broad hotel operations knowledge and familiarity with a variety of hospitality industry concepts, practices, and procedures strongly preferred.

Prior exposure to extended stay brands in a brand or operational role preferred.

Strong project management experience, (preferably PMP certification), with experience developing project management plans, implementing initiatives, and measuring results.

Strong organizational, time-management and analytical skills.

Ability to communicate successfully with peers, management, and Franchisees / General Managers.

Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.

Flexibility to changing priorities and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Exercises independent judgment and creativity to solve problems.

Willingness to explore opportunities to add value to any given project.

Ability to leverage data and create a foundation of data-supported decision making.

Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Your TeamThis is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director, Brand Activation - Extended Stay. You will collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.Your Work LocationAs our Brand Initiatives Manager, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.Right now, our associates in corporate headquarters are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtually from your home office the remaining days.
