Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to support a large federal client in Linthicum, MD. This person will sit fully onsite to support an enterprise IT and Infrastructure environment used by internal users that operate across over 100 programs. This individual will be expected to troubleshoot and monitor physical and virtual servers, manage active directory policies and permissions for different groups. The current environment is a mix between Linux, Windows, and network related issues. As the Senior Systems Administrator, this person will be working independently and may act as a point of escalation at times. This person will be a very technical SA and may mentor and/or lead at times.Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree and 9+ years of experience Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance CompTIA SEC+ CE certification Ability to work independently troubleshooting and maintaining Linux/RHEL OS Understanding of security practices and remedies including patching, STIGing, and vulnerability scanning Experience utilizing VMware to troubleshoot and manage Virtual Server environments
Experience leading/mentoring more junior admins Cisco Networking experience
VLAN experience Vendor certifications - Cisco, Microsoft, ITIL etc.
RedHat Certifications null
