Description:Actalent is seeking a talented BIM Specialist with 4 plus years experience at an MEP firm. This candidate will need to be able to design Mechanical and Electrical building components in BIM, Revit, and Navisworks. It is crucial that this individual is not only able to run clash detections, but identify and solve any design issues. This role will involve coordinating amongst other disciplines (i.e. Architects) and potential travel to local job sites in the Maryland and DC metro area. Our client services a variety of industries including museums, institutional, government, laboratories and higher education. Skills:

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
4+ years of BIM experience within the MEP industry
Associates Degree or certificate in Computer Aided-Design (CAD) or a related field
Extensive experience with Revit and Navisworks
Experience running clash detections and providing solutions to design issues
Commercial, educational, or government project type experience preferred
Must be eligible to work in the US
Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance if needed
