At Northrop Grumman, you’ll have the resources, support, and team to do some of the best work of your career.Responsibilities will encompass the full range of the procurement acquisition process including preparation and execution of a mixed portfolio of purchases while ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures as well as public law requirements. The position can be worked in the Chantilly, VA or Linthicum, MD facility. Hybrid telecommuting may be considered on a case-by-case basis.Specific tasks will include:

Sourcing and procuring specialized goods and services.

Owning contractual management for the suppliers.

Responsible for source selection.

Coordinating and collaborating with key stakeholders such as contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program and end-users.

Developing bid packages to include PO specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services.

Analyzing and evaluating proposals, negotiating terms and conditions, selecting or recommending vendors, writing awards, and administering resulting POs.

Identifying strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of supply chain, procurement, business management and/or related experience, OR 0 or more years of supply chain, procurement, business management and/or related with a master’s degree (4+ years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.)

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
