Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Linthicum, Maryland, as a post closer. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of post-closing duties, such as maintaining and organizing files, managing data entry, and tracking missing closing packages in the mortgage industry. Responsibilities: Carry out general post-closing duties including stacking, scanning, and filing documents Handle logging of mail into our Loan Origination System (LOS) Keep track of missing closing packages and perform general post-closing filing duties Conduct data entry tasks in the LOS system and engage in light filing and purging of documents Utilize strong communication skills for both internal and external correspondence, including sending emails to chase down closing packages and documents Apply knowledge of mortgage documents in daily tasks Quickly adapt to new tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Utilize skills in closing processes, customer service, post-closing, scanning, closing package preparation, and filing Perform data entry tasks efficiently and accurately.Requirements Proficient in managing Closing Processes in a mortgage lending role Excellent Customer Service skills Familiarity with Post Closing procedures Experience in Scanning and organizing crucial documents Ability to handle Closing Packages efficiently Demonstrated experience in Filing and Data Entry Minimum of 1 year of experience in a support role in the Mortgage Lending industry Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
