This position may be staffed as a hybrid role from Linthicum, MD. This position offers the 9/80 schedule.What You’ll Get to Do:The Business Management Manager 2 will lead the MS Business Management Pathways and Interns Program.The successful candidate must have a proven track record in leading a diverse team as well as the ability to promote the professional development of the business management workforce, fostering a collaborative culture that sustains the momentum around ethics and integrity, employee engagement, affordability, innovation, value growth and continuous improvement.Key Roles of the Pathways Manager include:Managing the recruitment and development of MS Business Mgmt Pathways and Interns. The successful candidate will manage multiple year headcount planning, school engagement and career fair support in partnership with HR UR&R and development of the Business Management Pathway and Intern recruitment strategy. The Pathways Manager is responsible for planning and managing requisitions, employee interviews and hiring actions to include an annual Pathway Invitational event.Managing the MS Business Mgmt Pathways and Intern programs. The Pathways Manager, as the direct manager for 100 Pathway employees and interns, is responsible for onboarding, orientation and performance management. The Pathways Manager is also responsible for employee engagement, development and planning annual rotations to align business needs and Pathways professional development goals.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher with 8 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, contracts or program control - OR - a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience.
Understanding of business management within a regulated industry.
Experience managing and balancing requirements of multiple stakeholders
Experience implementing new processes
Prior people leadership experience
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite
US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with financial systems such as COBRA, COGNOS, Business Warehouse, SAP
Experience with Workday
Knowledge of, or previous experience in an early career professional development program

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
