Senior QA/Compliance & Demand Planning Manager

Position is Full Time, ON SITE in JESSUP, MD and is NOT RemoteSalary- $110k-$125k plus 12.5% Annual BonusThis position is responsible for overseeing QA/Compliance and Demand Planning/Forecasting activities. You will lead the design and implementation of programs, policies, and practices to ensure that all products comply with international, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. This position will also oversee the Demand Planning Dept., managing demand volatility, fluctuating event attendances, short product life cycles, and new distribution channels.Essential Functions:

Oversees the Consumer Products Compliance Program and Demand Planning Dept.

Manages 3rd party testing companies and acts as the subject matter expert on laws and regulations applicable to consumer products.

Evaluates new and existing consumer product releases and enhancements to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Monitors trends and conducts root cause analysis of complaint data. Communicates findings and recommended actions to business partners.

Develops and implements demand planning & forecast strategies for live entertainment events with weekly sales, multiple distribution centers, e-commerce, and more.

Works with departments to meet decision document requirements for international engagements, strategizing ways to minimize costs.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Master's Degree preferred

More than five (5) years of management experience in a risk, compliance, or audit role.

Extensive understanding of global consumer product laws and regulations or a related field.

Ability to adapt to challenging and changing situations, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty.

Detail-oriented with the ability to meet firm deadlines.

Ability to drive action and build consensus among cross-functional stakeholders.

Excellent presentation skills and the ability to produce reports on all areas of responsibility.

Advanced to Expert-level skills with MS Excel. Experience creating reports and data extracts from databases using Excel.
