What you will be doing:
Monitoring/analyzing financial data routinely in support of assigned programs/projects
Analyzing activities such as program spending, cost analysis, invoicing and collections, forecasting and other tasks related to contracts/programs
Utilizing Deltek Costpoint accounting system, TM1 financial reporting system, and other Teledyne management tools to run reports and analyze data
Monitoring expenditures of contract funds in accordance with contract terms through creation and maintenance of direct project spend plans
Supporting Program Managers and Project Leads in all areas of program management such as cost management, forecasting and budgeting
Interfacing with Accounting, Finance, Contracts, Program Management and Senior Leaders, for the purpose of insuring accurate forecasting, invoicing, accruals and contract analysis information
Providing verification of proposal pricing and profitability analysis
Preparing status reports of Orders, Sales, Income, Funds Flow, etc. as well as charts for performance analysis and reporting
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other major related to this position
5+ years of directly related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with financial planning & reporting; experience in the administration of U.S. Government contracts is preferred
Familiarity with both accounting and financial reporting software packages; Costpoint/TM1 knowledge is a plus
Extensive experience in using MS Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy are critical
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are mandatory
U.S. Citizenship required for data/software access and possibly for government clearance
