Your Impact:You will be part of a dynamic team that supports the customer’s global mission enterprise for over 80 customer locations worldwide by providing unique solutions for an ever-changing mission environment by providing support in the form of RF Engineering, Signals Analysis, and Software Engineering for 12 different efforts and applications.You will be a part of Software Development efforts for applications that are used to capture, process, and display mission data.Responsibilities:
Supporting/maintaining two web based applications that provide monitoring for numerous field sites, hardware, and software.
Providing software development support for the applications based on pending requirements, priorities, and mission requirements
Review new requirements with the team and assess technical responses for the applications
Review new requirements with the customer to understand mission objectives
Provide support during deployments of new software releases
Meet with other technical application teams to understand impacts of changes across applications
Working as part of a team of 4-8 personnel of various skills levels

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of eighteen (18) years of experience.
Minimum Years of Experience:
Fourteen (14) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Preferred:
Information Technology Knowledge of virtualization
Fourteen or more years of relevant Java programming experience to include at least two years of Java 1.7 and development of presentation tiers
Five or more years of experience using Spring and JavaScript
Ten or more years of JSP and servlet programming experience
Ten or more years of experience with JEE and enterprise web application design and development
Five or more years of experience designing and writing RESTful applications
Ability to create and deploy applications in an Apache Tomcat web server
Three or more years of experience using JavaScript presentation libraries such as JQuery, Angular, and ExtJS
Two or more years of MongoDB, Apache Camel desired
Experience writing Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
Experience with Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Twelve or more years of experience programming on Linux platforms
Ten or more years of experience using one or more of the following revision control applications: git, Subversion (SVN), CVS, ClearCase
Five or more years of experience generating and documenting design specifications of system-level components in a UML-based tool (e.g., Confluence/Gliffy)
Fifteen or more years of experience with test-driven development
Ten or more years of Oracle, PL/SQL, and/or MySQL experience
Six or more years of Perl experience desired
Experience creating deployment packages using RedHat Package Manager (RPM) is desired
Five or more years of experience writing software that utilizes SNMP desired
Six or more years of experience creating hierarchical deployments using Linux YUM, including resolving dependencies and creating and managing YUM repositories
