Responsible for storage of finished goods and raw materials at off site warehouse and multiple remote warehouse locations.

Supervise night shift shipping and receiving operation.

Verify and maintain the resin database for orders and deliveries.

Oversee and maintain a safe work environment, to include all remote warehouses, through daily training and monthly meetings.

Ensure quarterly cycle counts are performed and all discrepancies are resolved immediately.

Establish and maintain relationships with needed vendors for plant and warehouse requirements.

Coordinate and work with the plant Production Manager and Quality Assurance Manager on all rework and HFI inventories.

Conduct monthly warehouse safety audits and create Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) and Best Practices as required for established safety schedule.

Responsible for maintaining and adhering to established Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Safety Quality Foods (SQF) compliance requirements.

Responsible for adhering to Food Safety Compliance.

Responsible for department’s adherence to the GMP.

Track, confirm and verify training for employees in the department and schedule training as needed and required.

Accountable for the safety of all employees for whom they are responsible through active engagement in safety activities and provides clear, consistent communication of safe work expectations.

Supports and investigates situations in which line/equipment stoppage occurs due to perceived, imminent safety risk.

Completes responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, and applicable laws.

Actively leads risk assessment activities for their area of responsibility by driving prioritizing corrective and preventive actions to eliminate/reduce environmental, health, or safety risks.

Lead all required meetings with safety (ie. Pre-Shift, Departmental, Change Management, General Communications, Town Hall, etc).

Ensures the proper training and development of all assigned employees for whom they are responsible.

Sets goals for their organizational unit; achieves goals and ensures that all employees understand and work toward achieving goals.

Motivates and coaches employees through good communication and frequent performance feedback. Identifies and coordinates additional training as needed.

Qualifications

Experience and proven track record implementing and driving initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously

Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and leadership to peers and direct reports.

Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Microsoft Office or similar system.

College degree or five (5) years of equivalent experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to react to changes, make decisions independently and manage multiple priorities and activities.

Ability to travel on occasion to other Berry locations to provide support and training for various company initiatives.

Must be well versed and able to provide on-site PIT Training and be previously or currently PIT site certified.
