Job Title: Machine OperatorWe are seeking an experienced Machine Operator with a strong working knowledge of metal materials and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. The ideal candidate will operate presses to bend and punch steel using custom dies, perform quality checks using various devices and fixtures, and accurately read measuring devices such as tape measures and calipers. You will also be required to follow detailed work instructions and ensure tolerances using gauges and other measurement tools.Responsibilities
Operate press to bend and punch steel using custom dies.
Perform quality checks on parts using checking devices and fixtures.
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
Use measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges to ensure tolerances.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality in all produced parts.
Essential Skills
Previous machine operator experience.
Working knowledge of metal materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficiency in using measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in machine operating, manufacturing, or machine shop.
Experience with Bridgeport Mill, Manual Lathe, Surface Grinder, and tool and die is preferred.
Knowledge of working with stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and carbon steel.
