Science Systems and Applications Inc (SSAI) is seeking an experienced Senior Pricing Analyst to support their busy Finance department. Located in Lanham, MD the Senior Pricing Analyst will execute all aspects of the proposal pricing for business development of federal and commercial opportunities. Perform estimating and pricing activities for proposal efforts, development and presenting of cost strategy, identification and mitigation of cost related risks, leading cost related shaping activities, and working with other cost related functional teams, including Human Resources, Accounting, Contracts, Subcontracts, and Business Development to support the submission of a fully compliant and compelling pricing response. Lead and execute the development of cost related strategies, including research, analysis, strategy conceptualization, financial modeling, cost modeling, price modeling, staffing, and communication. Produce and support creation of cost related strategy documents, including Light Green, Green Team Decks, Excel models, Cost Narratives, Basis of Estimates (BoEs), White Papers, and staffing models. Lead, manage, and simultaneously close multiple opportunity pursuits, lead and develop teammates, and develop innovative pricing strategies including utilizing Artificial Intelligence pricing platforms to inform firm leadership for strategy and decision making across multiple markets. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and drive thought leadership around proposal pricing and price to win. This is an in office position, in Lanham, MD.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Related Field and 5 years of experience proposal pricing for business development of federal and commercial opportunities.
Experience with multi-discipline and cost solutioning for federal government clients, preferably NASA, DoD, NOAA and/or NIH.
Experience developing pricing strategies and business development supporting documentation.
Experience with research, data gathering or analysis, quantitative modeling, strategy development, and briefing of leadership on different scenarios
Experience creating / developing complex internal pricing models and formulaically flowing logic to customer models.
Experience writing cost narratives and presentations.
Experience with in-depth cost or price manipulation, finance principles, or accounting principles.
Experience with executing Light Green and Green Team Reviews.
Experience with preparing and briefing senior leadership.
Experience working with subcontractors and partners to develop their sanitized pricing models for integration and/or submission to the client.
US Citizen with valid US Driver’s license
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with multi-hundred-million-dollar Aerospace Science, Engineering and/or Information Technology Proposals
Experience with On-Contract (Task Order / CLIN) modification pricing.
Experience with parametric project management estimating tools.
Collaborates across the Accounting, Senior Leadership, Operations and Business Development Teams to acquire the proper input and data to arrive at realistic price to win.
