Description We are searching for a skilled Paralegal, with a focus on Litigation, to join our team in Greenbelt, Maryland. In this role, you will be expected to apply your knowledge of civil litigation and complex litigation management to support our legal team. This role demands a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities: Manage and organize all aspects of documents, files, and databases associated with each specific case litigated Assist in the preparation and filing of all court documents and have knowledge and experience in e-Filing across various court platforms Contribute to the preparation of legal memorandums, court pleadings, and other filings Conduct legal research and factual investigation Collaborate with attorneys in the litigation preparation Assist in the drafting of discovery requests and responses Handle various aspects of civil litigation processes and have experience in a civil litigation law firm Work on complex litigation cases and provide litigation support Assist with the management of litigation cases and case development by preparing legal summaries, reports, and correspondence Communicate effectively with various contacts, including outside law offices, courts, and public agencies. Requirements Possession of a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal. Proficient knowledge of Civil Litigation. Prior experience working in a Civil Litigation Law Firm. Experience in handling Complex Litigation. Proven ability to manage Litigation and Litigation - Filing. Experience in Litigation - Management in a Litigation Law Firm. Demonstrated skills in Litigation Legal procedures. Familiarity with e-Filing systems. Proven expertise in managing Discovery Requests and Discovery Responses. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proactive with strong problem-solving skills. Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software.
