Description:The Nursing Administration Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director(s) in managing departmental operations: payroll, staffing and scheduling, variance analysis, supply and equipment ordering and inventory control, and facility maintenance. This position confers with managerial staff and other departments to resolve problems and coordinate activities. Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.Responsibilities:

Assists in development and maintenance of schedules, competency records, spreadsheets or databases (e.g. licensure, certification and continuing education), and job and position control.

Establishes and maintains productive working relationships with others including managers, medical staff, directors, outside agencies and other providers.

Manages materials and supply inventory in a cost-effective manner sufficient to support the business units.

Assists in payroll management functions including entries, authorized edits, and generation of reports.

Manages equipment inventory, including rentals, to support departmental operations.

Reviews and analyzes expense reports to reconcile purchase orders and account entries, identify opportunities for cost-containment or charge capture and reconcile variances.

Acts as a liaison for vendors and coordinates the evaluation of new equipment and supplies.

Works with the director to monitor expenses and take action to meet budgeted targets.

What you will need:

Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred. Knowledge and familiarity with the healthcare system and clinical setting strongly preferred.

Advanced computer skills to include data entry and retrieval, including Microsoft specialty products.

Reads, writes, speaks and comprehends English language.

Ability to effectively communicate complex and comprehensive information thoroughly and succinctly.

Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with all levels of personnel, medical staff and community representatives.

Demonstrated organizational skills as evidenced by personal and/or professional recommendations.

Ability to demonstrate technical skills in collecting, analyzing, and presenting information.

Ability to employ data-oriented software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MIDAS+)

Experience with information systems and supply management preferred.

Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to lead teams and act as supportive team member.

Ability to accurately evaluate complex problems, propose solutions, and assist with plan development and implementation.

Pay Range: $21.74 – 28.63Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
