This role will be onsite in Washington, DC or Germantown, MD.HOW A SYSTEMS ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems

Designing and planning the organization DNS architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and security

Configure DNS servers, zones, and records to support organization’s network and service requirements

Implementing security measures to protect the DNS infrastructure from threats like DDoS attacks

Ensuring that DNS resolution is efficient and minimizing latency to enhance user experience

Identifying and resolving DNS related issues and performing routine maintenance task

Install, configure, and maintain Infoblox appliances and software solution

Implement security measures within the Infoblox platform to protect against DNS related threats

Setup monitoring tools and alerts to proactively identify and address performance and security concerns

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Infoblox solutions into the organization

Ensure that Infoblox configuration adhere to industry standards and regulatory compliance

Evaluate the organization’s network needs and plan for future growth, scaling Infoblox solutions accordingly

Knowledge and implementation of DNSSEC to enhance the security and integrity of DNS

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

BA/BS and 20+ years of experience or equivalent years of experience

Experience with Microsoft DNS, Unix BIND, and experience with a DDI (Secure DNS, DHCP, IPAM)

Active TS or Q level clearance

Ability to communicate DNS intricacies to team.

US Citizenship Required

NICE TO HAVE:

MA/MS related to field

Infoblox experience

Experience with DOE

Q Clearance

Experience with DISA STIGs
