Job description:

Responsible for the performance of tasks associated with routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of all fleet vehicles at our location and at times roadside. Mechanics must be able to complete all fleet maintenance processes, ensure that units meet DOT specifications at all times and properly fill out company forms (manually and electronically).

Your Role

As part of our team, you’ll play a critical role in keeping vehicles and equipment running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Full Diagnostics and Repair – Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across various vehicle systems, including:

Engines: From minor adjustments to complete overhauls.

Transmissions & Drivetrain: Diagnose and repair issues for smooth operation.

Suspension, Steering, and Brakes: Ensure safe and reliable performance.

Electrical Systems & Emissions: Troubleshoot and repair complex systems for compliance and functionality.

Fleet Maintenance – Conduct DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and major repairs on trucks, skid loaders, and other equipment.

Equipment Maintenance – Diagnose and repair machinery from skid loads to weed eaters.

Communication – Clearly explain repair and maintenance needs to management while maintaining a professional demeanor.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in gas and diesel engine repair, fleet mechanical work, and equipment like skid loaders.

Full set of tools and a valid driver’s license.

Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and professionalism.

Preferred:

Formal automotive service training

Formal equipment service training
