Stormwater Maintenance, LLC (SMC), a growing regional environmental engineering, restoration construction and maintenance company founded in 2002, is seeking a licensed Surveyor to lead our growing Survey Division. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who desires increasing responsibilities in surveying, management, and marketing for a variety of project types. Based north of Baltimore in Sparks, Maryland, your assignments will typically be located throughout the Baltimore/Washington region.

The successful candidate must be well-versed across the various surveying disciplines to include: topographic, boundary, as-built, and stakeout. Must be dependable, team and goal oriented, client focused and forthright in resolving issues. This is the perfect opportunity for a surveyor with a small business who wants stability and the opportunity to expand - we are open to discussing an acquisition and performance-based compensation, with continued advancement within the company.

SMC is a unique organization, with comprehensive in-house capabilities that include engineering, inspection and surveying. SMC also provides construction, general contracting and maintenance services with in-house resources. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects involving various aspects of private and public sector projects within our company and with outside companies we partner with. Responsibilities include overseeing and mentoring field and office staff, scheduling of survey crews, proposal preparation, performing field surveys, comping and drafting, providing quality review of survey projects, and business development. Required Qualifications:

- Current Maryland licensed Property Line or Land Surveyor, or eligible for reciprocity

- Experienced with survey computations

- Experienced with Auto-Cad and Carlson software

- Proficient in all aspects of land surveying and construction stakeout

- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to succeed

- Works well in a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented environment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
