What You'll Be Doing

As a Verizon Sales & Events Specialist, you'll be the face of our brand, connecting customers to what matters most. Your responsibilities will include:

Driving Sales: Proactively engaging customers at our busy mall kiosk and various local events (e.g., festivals, community gatherings) to identify needs and sell Verizon products, services, and accessories.

Expert Consultation: Providing in-depth knowledge of Verizon's latest devices, plans, and promotions, demonstrating features and benefits.

Event Participation: Actively participating in the setup, execution, and breakdown of local promotional events to generate leads and sales.

Customer Relationship Building: Creating positive connections with potential and existing customers, ensuring a memorable experience that fosters loyalty and referrals.

Operational Support: Maintaining an organized and appealing kiosk/event space, and accurately processing sales transactions and new account activations.

Continuous Learning: Staying up-to-date on new Verizon offerings and industry trends.

Exceeding Targets: Meeting and surpassing aggressive sales goals and performance metrics.

What We're Looking For

Proven Sales Experience: 1-2+ years of successful sales experience, ideally in wireless, telecommunications, or consumer electronics.

Verizon Experience is a BIG Plus: Previous experience in a Verizon corporate store or authorized retail environment is highly valued – you understand the products and systems, and we'll reward that!

Commission-Driven: Highly motivated by an uncapped, commission-only compensation model.

Exceptional Communicator: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, able to connect with diverse audiences.

Event Engagement: Comfortable and enthusiastic about working promotional events and engaging with the public.

Tech Savvy: Passionate about mobile technology and adept at demonstrating devices.

Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive results without constant supervision.

Flexible Availability: Willingness to work mall hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and attend local events as needed.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
