We are seeking a high school student to assist us around our small horse farm in New Market, MD. This position involves a variety of tasks to help maintain and improve the barn and surroundings.
Responsibilities:
Mowing grass and maintaining lawns around the farm.
Using a weed whacker to trim around fences, buildings, and driveway.
Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance of fencing.
Helping with general cleanup and organization of farm equipment and tools.
Supporting with other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
High school student, reliable and hardworking.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Physical ability to lift and move equipment and perform outdoor tasks.
Schedule and Compensation:
Weekend hours, approximately 10-15 hours per week.
Hourly wage.
