Job Title: MechanicJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The pay range for this position is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience and skill set. A strong electrical background is strongly preferred and would correspond with a higher starting hourly rate. The role requires working afternoon or evening shifts, and a strong attendance record is essential.Responsibilities

Assist the facilities manager with ensuring that all facilities are structurally sound, mechanically operational, electrically efficient, and safe by planning and scheduling daily/weekly preventive maintenance activities.

Ensure that contract mechanical maintenance services meet specified results and work orders by observing the work performed and advising the maintenance manager when services fail to meet specifications.

Contribute to the overall success of facilities maintenance by performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Ensure the operation of machinery, PLCs, and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic, conveyor systems, and production machines.

Follow diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications for troubleshooting and repairs.

Perform required preventive maintenance on PLCs, including lubrication, cleaning, and filter changes.

Follow safety, GMP, HACCP, and all other procedures and policies.

Provide communication to all support team members by following proper escalation procedures.

Operate the blow mold machine, following GMPs at all times, performing start-up inspections, sanitation, and product testing.

Ensure product quality by checking weights and codes every 30 minutes, recording lot code information, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

High School Diploma or equivalent (education verification required)

Verifiable maintenance experience

3 to 5 years of mechanical experience and maintenance

Ability to troubleshoot GMP equipment

Proficiency in using all hand tools for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment
