Provide security and safety for personnel, property, facilities, and assets
Provide service to daily operations in the Security Operations Center and Visitor Control Center
Monitoring of daily activities of over 1,000 employees, to include logging, monitoring, and assisting an average of 5,000 visitors annually
Perform identification checks and access control to ensure only authorized personnel are allowed access to the facility
Program badges and verify security clearance in the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Defense Information System for Security (DISS), or other provided system, for proper access control into the facility
Conduct security indoctrinations into sensitive and classified programs, scheduling polygraphs, investigate and report security violations, review and submit security clearance background investigations, administer, and submit fingerprints, prepare foreign born waiver packages for personnel with foreign relationships needing a TS/SCI clearance, and other personnel security tasks as needed
Conduct de-briefs when personnel detach from the command
Monitoring security cameras and dispatching emergency teams in the SOC
Provide escorting services as needed for visiting personnel
Provide front desk support to ensure proper access control to the facilities.
Requirements
Active Top Secret Clearance / SCI w/Poly for Ft. Meade
Experience in ICD 704, ICD 705, Personnel Security, Information Security, DISS, any certificates issued by CDSE
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in military, security, or law enforcement environment performing security specialist functions
Be a citizen of the United States of America
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess a valid automobile driver’s license.
