Recognized on the 2020 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest growing companies, we are always looking to hire top talent in the field - come join us today!A mid-level Applications Systems Analyst for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Services Development Directorate Internal Business Programs Support is responsible for defining system scope and objectives, devising procedures to solve complex problems, and preparing detailed program specifications. This role involves designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs to ensure they meet the specified requirements and operate efficiently within the system's constraints.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and industry standards.

Analyze complex problems, considering computer equipment capacity, limitations, and operating time to devise or modify procedures.

Prepare detailed specifications for program development.

Design, code, test, debug, and document programs to meet system requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and data requirements.

Conduct research and analyze technology information to inform system development and modifications.

Ensure systems meet documented user requirements through rigorous testing.

Develop and maintain system documentation to describe system requirements and usage.

Implement software configuration management and version control practices.

Support the integration and deployment of new systems or enhancements to existing systems.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

3-7 years of experience in applications systems analysis or a related field.

Demonstrated expertise in defining system scope and objectives and solving complex problems.

Experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities, including design, coding, testing, and documentation.

Proficiency in preparing detailed specifications for program development.

Hands-on experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar.

ITIL v3 or v4 certification is preferred.

Certifications related to software development or systems analysis are advantageous.

DoD Secret clearance REQUIRED.
