At ManTech, you’ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.ManTech is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Analytics Developer to support a pivotal Defense Health Agency (DHA) program within our Health Portfolio. This role will be focused on developing enterprise reporting solutions, data visualizations, data-quality assurance, and data integration pipelines.The program is based in Fort Detrick, Maryland. This position is on-site, but hybrid or telework options are available for exceptional candidates on a case-by-case basis.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operate as a member of an agile team focused on developing and maintaining a wide variety of software systems/sub-systems related to business intelligence, data visualization, data reporting, extract transform load (ETL) data pipelines, and data analysis.
Participate in all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements analysis with end-users, technical analysis with other teams for sub-system integration, direct prototyping and development, and driving long-term improvements to operational systems.
Coordinate with other teams in a scaled environment (10+ agile teams), with a particular focus on identifying team/system interdependencies, collaborating on technical approach and architecture, conducting trade-off analysis, and supporting ongoing cloud migration and modernization.
Create and maintain design and technical plans/documentation; and provide leadership in data modeling, development of best practices, and analysis of new tools (and improving usage of existing tools).
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Logistics Management, Data Science, or other applicable discipline, or 4 additional years of experience relevant experience to the role.
5+ years of technical experience with the SAP ecosystem, particularly the Business Objects Business Intelligence suite and extracting data from SAP modules related to enterprise logistics management, including SAP MM (Materials Management), WM/WMS (Warehouse Management), PP (Production Planning), and PM (Plan Manufacture).
Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and trade-off analysis skills.
Experience working on large-scale software modernization programs, including expertise in areas such as legacy data access and integration; mixed cloud (AWS GovCloud preferred) and on-premise environments; and ETL subsystems and data integration pipelines.
Currently possess or have the ability to quickly acquire (prior to start date) a certification aligned to DoD 8570.01 baseline certification for IAT or IAM Level I. The most common certifications to meet this requirement include CompTIA A+ (IAT), Network+ (IAT), or Security+ (IAT + IAM). Currently possessing a higher-level certification, such as the IS2 CISSP credential, can also meet this requirement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Enterprise logistics and supply chain experience, particularly medical logistics exposure related to inventory and cataloging, life-cycle management/tracking, and related industry/regulatory standards – and an understanding of logistics-related challenges as they relate to software system design and improvement.
Experience in data integration or synchronization pipelines utilizing message queuing tools such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, or similar; and experience integrating data for BI from a wide variety of relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL), enterprise (SAP), and noSQL (Mongo DB) data sources.
Experience or certification with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) approaches, and DevOps practices.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Will be subject to a Tier 3 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility only; candidates who have recently completed T3 investigations are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $99,200-$164,600. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
