Description:Aerotek's client is looking for individuals interested in building a CAREER with one of America's leading electrical component suppliers in their brand new fast-paced distribution center. A Wire Cutter is responsible for coiling, spooling, cutting and labeling wire to specified customer orders. Attention to details, organization, and accuracy is required. Must be comfortable with heights, operating equipment, and pulling heavy weighted cableShift:Monday through Friday with occasional mandatory Saturdays .01:00PM to Finish(typically a 10-hour day)Responsibilities:
Cut wire to the length specified on ticket order
Coil/spool wire
Label wire to order
Deliver wire to correct routing staging area
Maintain organization and neatness in wire room
Be on time and work diligently with co-workers
Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
Able to lift up to 70lbs
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
1+ year of experience in a warehouse environment or distribution center
Good and dependable mathematic, verbal, and written communication skills
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on regular basis; up to 70 lbs. occasionally
Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
