Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a fast-growing company. The Accounting Assistant will support the accounting and finance departments by performing bookkeeping and accounting tasks. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents, invoicing customers, and collecting payments. Track expenses and evaluate financial budgets
Engage with clients as necessary via email and phone
Settle financial books including incoming and outgoing funds
Collaborate with the Accounting team by creating and editing financial documents
Own the bookkeeping processes of the company
Handle day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account
Help with administrative duties as they present themselves Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
Skilled in written and verbal communication, as well as strong time management abilities
Must be detail-oriented and have critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet and reporting applications
Bookkeeping experience desired
