STRUCTURAL is the open-shop contracting business line of Structural Group. We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in our Columbia, MD office. As an Administrative Assistant for Structural Group, you will be accountable for routine clerical duties including but not limited to front office receptionist tasks, data entry, filing, copying, and overall office administration.The successful candidate will be also be responsible for:

Answering and transferring phone calls

Greeting employees and visitors to the office

Working with construction documents and forms

Managing incoming and outgoing mail

Assisting with meeting and event planning and set up for the office

Assisting with payroll processing and accounts payable when needed

Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position:

2+ years of previous administrative experience

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transcribing abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Flexible, skilled at multi-tasking, detail oriented and organized

Candidates with the following background may be given preference:

Previous experience working in the construction industry

Bi-lingual English-Spanish
